250-Mile Loop Ride Review
Saturday, April 20th
On Saturday morning, April 20th, (57) Members, and (40) motorcycles joined Ride Host, Tony Finocchio, Christian Belzunce and Roddy Levy for their 3rd Saturday of the month day ride, The 250-Mile Loop Ride.
Following the Pre-Ride Briefing by Tony, the riders split up into (1) of the (4) pre-assigned riding groups and headed up the Bee-Line Hwy for the first stop at Tonto Basin. It was a perfect morning for riding and everyone enjoyed the cool ride and beautiful scenery.
After a gas and bio stop at Tonto Basin the groups enjoyed a scenic cruise along Lake Roosevelt to the Hwy 288 turn off. If you have never taken Hwy 288, check it out the next time you pass that way. We rode about 17 miles on 288 to a scenic overlook where Wynette Finocchio and Ruth Levy were waiting with cold beverages, snacks and a souvenir fiber cloth; silkscreened with the BMMC logo and the name of the ride.
As soon as all of the riders had received their souvenir gift and refreshments we headed back down 288 taking in the delightful vistas along the way.
Following a quick gas & Bio Stop in Miami the riders traveled through Superior and on into Mesa for our lunch destination at the Rancho Tia Rose Restaurant.
The friendly staff was waiting for us, and we were served a delicious Mexican lunch on the outside patio. Tony promoted the restaurant as the best Mexican food in the Valley, and all of the riders agreed, it was delicious.
All of the attendees would like to thank the hosts, Tony, Christian and Roddy, and special thanks to Wynette and Ruth for hosting the refreshments and souvenir stop.
Great job everyone.
