Chris Christner racing at Firebird 4-25-2010

We all know Chris as a member of the Board of Directors and as our Safety Director.  His safety talks at our breakfast meetings are informative and entertaining and are based on Chris's incredibly extensive riding experience both on and off the race track.  This sequence of photos shows Chris racing at Firebird Raceway and putting into practice the techniques he talks about at our breakfast meetings.

A word about riding or not riding in club groups

BMMC does not have a club policy that you must ride in one of the groups on BMMC rides. Ride groups are formed solely at the behest of many of our members who prefer to ride in an organized group and often request to be grouped with their buddies. You may prefer to ride alone or with a group of your friends but not within an organized BMMC group, and that is perfectly OK. We want your ride to be enjoyable for you whether that is riding with the club or not. It is your choice. We do suggest that if you choose to not ride with the club that you do attend the organizational meeting at the beginning of the ride as there may be last minute updates and changes to scheduling or the route that is not in the website ride announcement. Riders not riding an organized BMMC group may depart at their own convenience.

Black Mountain Motorcycle Club (BMMC) was founded in 1996 by a small group of motorcycle enthusiasts from the Cave Creek, Arizona area for the purpose of meeting new friends who share a passion for motorcycles and riding. BMMC has not strayed far from the founder’s original vision and can best be described as a social riding club.

BMMC meets on the first Saturday of every month at 8:15am for a breakfast meeting at Harold’s in Cave Creek, Arizona. The club averages 180 memberships, a membership can be held in single or couple status. The current membership cost is $250 per year.  BMMC is a non-profit Corporation governed by a board of eleven directors. The members elect the eleven directors; the directors elect the club officers.

The BMMC membership encompasses a variety of age levels, and most all brands of motorcycles are represented in the club. BMMC offer an extensive calendar of rides and social events for our members throughout the year and is a great way to meet and ride with fellow motorcycle enthusiasts.
